I am new and I really do not know where to start. Since I am in Austria 
and do not get to read american papers everyday, i would like someone to 
confirm or deny a rumor. Did pynchon really 'go public' or was it a joke?

Another thing, can anyone tell me about the developments of the wand 
tinasky case (appeared last fall in a new york newspaper: pynchon 
publishing under the name  of wanda in a californian daily newspaper)?
