Getting GR

Just think if one could take the whole text and spread it out like a map 
in a war room where every component, nuiance, nusiance, the very light 
breath of rumor and whimsy, I mean the whole enchilata is laid out before 
you like Moses before the Lord (forgive the metaphor)-wouldn't the genius 
of Pynchon be shown in the gaps that are revealed in that they are so 
strategically situated as to compel interpretation despite having the 
face of God right up there hovering above you.  What if...ah the fruits 
of  twenty-something hallucinogens...



P.S.  the last time I read GR it scared the shit out of me unlike the 
time before that when I saw God...
