Baker

Baker has recently taken what someone referred to as the titillation route. I
can see that point. But his first stuff is really a blast to read: Room
Temperature, Mezzaine, U and I I do  think certainly qualify as literature. 
There was a discussion a while back about encyclopedic writing. I'm not sure
Baker fits that, but he certainly has fu with the minutae  (sp?) of everyday
life/thinking.
