TRP=Unabomber?

I just finished reading the article, and tend to think that it is 
meant as a parody. I don't know, call me crazy, but maybe the fact 
that it says "Parody" on top has something to do with it.... In any 
case, those interested enough could simply ask the author. Maybe, 
who knows, he even picked up the idea on this list. ("Who Pynchon?") 
I initiated a short discussion on the subject - meant to be not _quite_ 
serious, sometime last year (October or November). The quote I used 
was the following:

     Next time you come across a logging operation out 
     here, find one of their tractors that isn't being
     guarded, and take its oil filter with you. That's 
     what you can do (GR, 553).

I suppose the question whether TRP harbors Luddite tendencies, or can 
be _read_ (misread?) in such a manner, is a different, slightly more legitimate 
one.
