interesting too that GR contains a "Brother Quest" that ends, imho, 
in the book's most beautiful passage--Tchitcherine (sp?) seeks 
Enzian.  i can't remember the passage in which they meet, sort of, 
and i won't quote it poorly--but it gives me something to do when i 
get home from work--thanks y'all...
