Other interesting female figures- Not only Moms-'Madame Psychosis' (or 
DMZ), the Bloody Sister, Kate Gompert's It, U.S.S. Millicent Kent (her 
attempted seduction of Mario reminded me of Shekinah episode by the pool 
in GR but I might be stretching a bit.) Coke-head whore chasing Poor 
Tony, Helen Steeply-triple agent? transvestite.  All have things in 
common and I feel could lumped under the 'Madame' moniker-this IMHO is 
the 'V' of the book.  One of the more interesting threads in a book with 
many  not to mention  parallels it boggles the mind.  Into the 700's at 
least...
