Lucky Strike Green

The phrase used in radio commercials was *Lucky Strike green has gone to war*
(yes, I was born in the very last days of 1928).  My impression as a kid was
that an element of the green coloring material was important to some military
production, but I have not checked up on this.  Previously the background
color of the packet was a distinctive dark green.
