I think my problem (and I agree happily that this is not an academic approach
- I'm not an academic) is that I wouldn't  accept automatically what he had
to say about rockets any more than I would dismiss his thoughts on subjects
outside of his field.  

Call me irresponsible, but I prefer to consider all people capable of insight
into many things; while "experts" often disagree among themselves.  We don't
even know if poor ol' vB even uttered the words attributed to him by P.  If
he did, they certainly don't purport to be anything other than personal
observation, opinion.  

Do we kick Nixon around for saying "What?"  (You betcha!  And that, we know,
is an actual quote - you can look it up.)

As to Hawking and Einstein, "problematic" relative to what?
