When Brett Easton Ellis was on tour for The Informers, he said he'd written 
a first draft of a screenplay for American Psycho, but got disgusted with 
the whole Hollywood thing and walked away from the project.   He didn't 
mention any directors or actors who might be involved, nor did he mention 
when (or if) production might begin.
