V. readinggroup

Just a reminder, and a notice to recent subscribers: there's a reading 
of V. currently underway on the mailing list -- we're supposed to be 
talking about chapters 1-5 (so if you're really tired of the TV string, 
speak up about V.). Chapters 6-9 will be under discussion from July 21, 
so crack your spines and work up some knotty (or naughty) topics ... 
I've already shot my Mondaugen load, and R. Romeo's got some pointed 
questions as well about this part of the book (which have yet to be 
picked up), but we can get to this in a more organized fashion in a 
couple of weeks.
