Okay, I've already posted the address and suchlike, but here's who I
am, in the third person natch:
Craig Clark is a 33 year old researcher with the Built Environment
Support Group, a non-government organisation involved in housing
projects in Durban, South Africa. He originally trained to be an Eng
Lit academic, and wrote his Master of Arts dissertation on "The
concept of the 'excluded middle' in the fiction of Thomas Pynchon",
for which he was awarded his degree cum laude; alas and alack, there
were no Eng Lit posts going begging in cash-strapped South African
academe, so he went off into the giddy world of socio-economic
research instead.
His passions include the films of Stanley Kubrick, the music of Brian
Eno and the stage musicals of Stephen Sondheim. A keen thespian,
Craig is best known in Durban's theatrical circles for his professional
appearances as a member of the "Comedy Games" improv troupe, and
for his portrayal of Herod in the last Durban Passion Play. He also writes
a weekly satirical column for the _Higher Education Review_. He is
unmarried, uninvolved and a socialist heterosexual, though not necessarily
in that order.
Craig Clark
"Living inside the system is like driving across
the countryside in a bus driven by a maniac bent
on suicide."
- Thomas Pynchon, "Gravity's Rainbow"
