I turned 30 in February, married last year, first baby due to arrive any day
now. Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering (though not at Cornell) and found
GR through my interest in the cyberpunk aspect of the science fiction genre.
Tthe Aero education helped my enjoyment of GR.
Grad school dropout/flunk out, living in Rochester, NY, USA (about an hour
and a half from Cornell, to which I make a yearly pilgrimage to skinny dip,
and for offensive garlic pizza at the Nines) working for a Fortune 47
document company as a real (non-contract) employee on a software support
hotline (anyone wanna talk PostScript or Novell?)
Currently rereading V, IJ, Hyperion and reading The Subterraneans. I like
music a lot, ranging from Bebop to the late 60's San Francisco sound, with
some 80's hardcore, 70's funk and 90's dancehall mixed in, I like to trade
live performances, analog please.
Ob Pynchon: Last summer I went to the Smithsonian Air and Space musem to
gawk at the V-2, and decide there was room in the tail assembly, near the
nozzle, to fit a person.
Ob Pynchon-l: I watch much less TV than I did as a child,( but surf the Web
much more).
George
