Designated Flamer Redux

"A little something for the weekend", as a British friend used to say:

I was reading of a short-lived journal of reviews of science fiction
titled VENOM, whose editors felt that sf reviewing had become rather
milquetoasty ("it was hard to tell the reviews from the blurbs").
To become a reviewer, you had to do a scathing review of one of your
own books, to be published in the magazine under a nom de plume.
Thinking back to this list's request for a "designated flamer", I was
wondering if we might not apply this princple to ourselves, and
FLAME OUR OWN POSTINGS.

Anyone care to start us off?

(I would volunteer, but it's obvious from the puerile lack of wit, substance
and style of my posts to date that I'm a badly self-educated cretin who,
in his wasted younger years, could never stay far enough from the mind-
killing heinous chemicals, and is paying for it now in his increasingly dim
old age, mumbling sterile, formulaic cliches; forever revealed to the readers
of this list as a pin-headed lump of gracelessly aging flesh whose finest hour
would have been an early abortion.)
(Wouldn't you agree, Andrew?)
