No, are you? By staying silent himself he frees us to read 
creatively. Would like to hear more about your reading. For instance, 
who exactly are They?

Dismiss, I would say, in fairly strong terms. I'd be happy to look 
for more examples, if you wish. What seems obvious to me is that his 
texts repudiate any single truths imparted by devine revelation of 
the one true god-being, etc. There are, I think, interpretations of 
Christianity out there which recognize not just the right of other 
religions to exist, but also their 'truth'. But again, once one 
rejects all the defining characteristics of Christianity, as well as 
all its atrocities committed over the past 2000 years, why bother 
still calling it Christianity? I know that Christian churches rewrite 
their dogma to suit their political (etc.) situations, but should we 
really adopt such a radically ahistorical attitude?
