.*++FYI, here's how the Yoyodyne site (http://www.yoyo.com/) explains
.*++(inaccurately) the origin of its name:

.*++Yoyodyne first appeared in Thomas Pynchon's novels The Crying of Lot 49 
(a
.*++great book, by the
.*++way) and Vineland. Yoyodyne was a toy company turned failed defense
.*++contractor. Of course, we
.*++identify more with the toy company!

.*++While Pynchon's novels are well worth reading, we actually got our name 
from
.*++the 1984 Buckaroo
.*++Banzai movie, starring Peter Weller, John Lithgow, and bunches of other
.*++people. In this case
.*++Yoyodyne was the name of the company run by the Red Lectroids, the bad 
guys.
.*++Of course, we
.*++identify more with the Black Lectroids and Team Banzai....
