Actually, I didn't mean to slam Heikki's idea, just add a little
light-hearted banter to the discussion.
My home town makes just as much sense as a Wasteland (Zone) as any place
else, and freeways may very well offer a lot of added possibilities. Go
to it Heikki.
By the way let me ask a related question. Has anyone else been puzzled,
as I have always been, by a seeming paradox--the reputation
Southern California has as a "laid back" (and possibly lawless) place
combined with the fussiness of its police departments in enforcing
pedestrian right-away laws. One foot in the street at an intersection
stops all motor traffic. Even drive by-shooting perpetrators making their
getaway.
