Apologies in advance to those of you who are annoyed by the
ongoing discussion of _Infinite Jest_ on this list.

Dan Schmidt just posted a most interesting collection of notes
on IJ to the rec.arts.books newsgroup.  Check it out there
(it's entitled "Notes on Infinite Jest (long, many spoilers)"
and dated 28 Mar 1996) or let me know if you're interested
