a challenge for Wallace-philes

To everyone out there with any interest in David Foster Wallace and his
lil' book (myself included):

The Twin Cities' great _Hungry Mind Review_ has a review of _IJ_ in its
most recent issue. (I have a regular copy, but apparently the _Review_
is available on the Net at the Bookwire site.) The review is, like the
ten or so other ones I've read, utterly laudatory, and I'm wondering if
anyone out there has either read a less-than laudatory review of _IJ_ or
has read the book itself and cares to rip it up. I mean, I read the
thing and loved it from start to finish blah blah blah, but I'm getting
kinda creeped out that it seems like no one ('cept Wallace himself) can
say anything bad about the book. Please post any such information to the
list or e-mail me privately if you don't want to use of the Pynchon
list's time and energy...
