Will's Thank You

I want to thank everybody on these two lists (Pynchon and Wallace) who either
participated in the discussions started by my students' posts or even those who
just watched pass by on the lists.  A special thanks to Parke Muth, Chris K.,
Paul Mackin and a few others who responded so many times to my kids' ideas.

Today we had a lunch and they reviewed all the related posts in order, reading
them aloud to eachother and passing ideas back and forth.  It was a great
experience for them.

One of the students wrote that he wanted to thank people for taking seriously a
high school senior, as many people won't.  That is exactly what these lists did,
never condescending to the kids and treating them like the intelligent, curious
people that they are.

Again, a boatload of thanks to everyone -- these lists are filled with really
terrific foax!
