Pynchon as world author

The Pynchon-l correspondent in Spain reports:

Looking through an old ISBN catalogue a few years ago discovered that
COL49, V and GR were translated into spanish a few years after they came
out, and have been forgotten since (no reprints), until last year when a new 
translation of COL49 has been published (it has an american flag in the 
cover, with a muted horn) and a friend told me he saw a translation of V 
a couple of days ago.  No reviews or anything yet in the papers.
