FZ appeared in at least one episode of the Monkees, where he and Nesmith
pretended to be the other, and Zappa interviewed Nesmith as Zappa. In that
(or a second) episode, Zappa also gave a conducting demo.
I also believe that Zappa played a part in `Head', the movie the Monkees
made with Jack Nicholson.
Thanks to MTV for playing the compleat & utter Monkees collection a few
years back & thanks to my little sister for taping it.
