Cecil Adams explains the handkerchief code in one of his Straight Dope books
(www.straightdope.com) though I can't find it at the moment. Some of the
flavors that I recall were leather, watersports, Victorian, cuddling. Which
back pocketit was showing from advertised whether you were active or
passive.  When I do track it down, I'll be sure to post it.
