List Elite

Is it elitist not to advertise your open house party, not to leave
the front door wide open? I think I found the list by searching for
pynchon, finding the page, reading the instructions and subscribing.

Is it elitist to de facto filter out some !@#$% who's cruisin for a
hot cyber date by jamming his finger on the down-arrow key to move
from one alt group to the next?

Hey guys! Yeah, far out. Yeah, the teacher made us read that
Crying a Lot book both times I took English 101.
Yeah, well, it was real cool, if I remember right.
Well, gotta go now, my mom, I mean my girlfriend's tellin' me she
needs to use the phone. These computers sure are fun...

DCNY? I don't get it...
