Chris Carter/Thomas Pynchon

Maybe I am just being too critical (I know , I know: it's just tv for
Grid's sake) but the episode seemed more like a watered-down "Illuminatus 
for Beginners" than truly Pynchon-esque; not enough depth. Or bandwidth.
