I'm reading the second part of Vassily Aksomov's(sp) WINTER'S novel..
a long Russian familial saga... one of the characters is Lavrentii
Beria's (head of the CHEKA, and the NKVD, precursor to the KGB) finder
of young women for Beria's delectation.... a bit less "nice" than
Ike 'n' Elvis.... but then, in Ayn Rand's letters, one finds corres-
pondence between her and "The King of Twangy Guitar" Duane Eddy.
