Here's something I posted to rec.arts.books...


  I admit to not knowing much about decon... but consider this. The
movers and shakers in the OSS/CIA (i.e. James Jesus Angleton) were
devotees of Ezra Pound... seeing the "hall of mirrors" that may have
arisen from these men, does anyone wish to provide conjecture as
to the possible outcome (skiffy ideas are more than welcome) of the
"utilization" of decon in the future world that we are waddling
drunkenly toward?
  And if so, what will the outcome be when decon is stuffed down the
orifices of the poor shlub on the street? 
  As I said.. conjecture...
