There's a really embarassing article by David Foster Wallace in the September
Premiere about the Lynch film, in which he breathes undying adulation and
idolatry about Lynch. I'm not too sure about the film - it sounds like
it might suffer from some of the K-Mart surrealism that marred _Fire Walk
With Me_,... and (horror of horrors), the film is really being
marketed. In a bad way, from the "out pulps pulp fiction" kinda
marketing school. Y'know, lots of glossy ads, a soundtrack featuring
renowned mullets Nine Inch Nails, Porno for Pyros...
But I guess we'll have to wait and see whether it (huhuh) sucks.
