Hate to nitpick here, but the title of the awesome song you're 
referring to is "Land", not "Horses"... The VU feel to _Horses_ 
may have a lot to do with John Cale's production, as well as with
Patti's debt of inspiration to Lou Reed and the kind of impulse in 
popular music that derives from the Velvet's timeless brilliance...
