A-and Townes Van Zandt apparently doesn't remember the first 22 years of
his life.

Of COURSE TRP owns some Townes; the man, for God's sake, knows about Wild
Man Fischer. I was one of four people on the PLANET who ever bought a WMF
album.

A lot of stuff going on with iron, indeed. Mars, not Venus (the first star
and presumably copper). The Crystal Palace. Railroad tracks, slapped
across the American West, in our doomed race to outrun our own shit.
Conductor and ferromagnetic material, beloved of Michael Faraday, whose
eyes, too lambent and sinister, stared at Tantivy one dreary and womanless
afternoon. Conductor in cahoots with the Pointsman, sending us to...where?
Happyville or Pain City? Just gas? Exempt from the K.H.?
