A few months back, National Geographic Magazine did an article on the use
of bicylces in European cities...I think the article focused on Venice,
but I am not sure. Nonetheless, part of the article dealt with the idea
that seemingly anyone in the city picked up anyone's bike, used it, and
returned it to where he/she found it...or dumped it into one of the
canals...a typically offbeat article, to be sure, but maybe it can point
you in the right direction....???
