I dunno.  Something about Scorsese's greatest dud being written by none other
than Thomas Pynchon would be so disappointing, though (dare I say?)
understandable.

Not a big fan of BUCKAROO BANZAI meself, but I wouldn't be so surprised if
that did indeed turn out to be Pynchon-induced, proving why the man is and
has always been a writer of fiction.  Glad he kept his night-job.
