Something that puzzled me about Jules's callipygian post was my knowledge
(based on his other postings) of his affection for Crumb, since Crumb (the
artist, the art, the following) struck me as a clear and familiar example of
one area in which Jules's generalizing about modern-day perceptions of
beauty was not valid.
