Henry,
Unfortunately I've not been able to get my wife to read any TRP. Shortly
after we got hitched I got her to try _Slow Learner_ but she didn't care
for the stories and so it has been impossible to get her to try any of his
other works. In fact, whenever I pull a TRP work of the shelves for a
re-read, she groans, "Pynchon again?"
Actually, I don't know anyone in the off-line world who has read Pynchon
and so I'm looking forward to the forthcoming GR/GR.
