     Re _V._, which Paul DiFi (I think) also mentioned recently:  *That* 
     group read, which began some months ago and seems to have crashed and 
     burned, was to have its opening round of last call discussions (of the 
     last 3 chapters, I believe) starting today, but the New York Public 
     Library Internet connection took a trip into the Zone a coupla days 
     ago and I haven't had a chance to write up a concluding post.  I'm 
     still having a problem with my mail server, so we'll see how it goes.  
     But, yes, send thoughts to the list.
