I'm an editor at Amazon.com Books (and I'm reveiwing M&D for the site).
The $30 dollar list price on the site is a mistake - it should read
$27.50 (and will very soon) plus a 40% discount, so we'll be selling it
for $16.50. The shipping charge is $3 an order plus 95 cents a book -
$3.95 for one book, but if you buy two (or any of his others) the total
shipping charge would be $3 plus $1.80. Still competitive with B&N, and
very convenient (not everyone lives by a B&N.) We'll be able to ship the
book the day of publication (April 30) and, depending on the shipment
method you choose, it should get there in a couple of days. You can
order it now.

We'll have an extensive review and feature posted the 27th. You can
already check out a synopsis, a cover, and post your own musings on M&D.
