NYC meet

     OK, here it is:  New York Pynchon List will meet as scheduled on 
     Monday, April 14th, 7PM, at the Swift Hibernian Lounge (which boasts 
     the finest tap of Guinness in town, I'm told) on East 3rd Street 
     between Lafayette and the Bowery. 
     
     Resourceful Girl Guide that I am, I will arrive early to greet the 
     attendees who will include our visitor Eric Alan Weinstein, Bill 
     Millard, Ken Houghton, William Carlin, Monte Davis and, possibly, 
     Richard Romeo.  Might the fugitive curmudgeon-in-waiting, Mittelwerk, 
     make an appearance?  Only his hairdresser knows for sure.
     
     We will toast Eric, each other, our absent friends, Messrs. Mason and 
     Dixon, and, last but definitely not least, Mr. TRP himself.  If we're 
     not too drunk to the walk the few blocks to the Three of Cups (83 1st 
     Ave.), I will suggest that we adjourn there for food.  So, Richard, 
     please do try to join us in either place when you leave the office.
     
     I will be reachable at work on Monday should the need arise.
