Seems most Koreans love their dictator; Chinese also. A-and
Singapore is so nice and clean, I'm sure most of the citizens just
love it! Ayatollah the truth. In fact, perhaps the contentment of the
population is measure of the absolute power of a "benevolent"
dicktater.

>>>>Now, Henry. But in truth I'm even a little cynical myself. On the other hand a full stomach goes a long way toward happiness. Unfortunately stomachs aren't as full in Cuba today as they were back in '79-'80 when I was there, mostly Uncle Sam's fault. Helms-Burton is ludicrously embarrassing to the good old U.S.A. Administration spokesman have to lay it on property confiscation but every child in America knows it's over domestic electoral politics. Well, I haven't actually checked, but that's my impression. But what do I know. Just a reasonably well-off estadounidense diletante do-gooder. Still haven't heard from those Cuban p-listers.
