Don't know 'bout V, but saw a first edition of Slow Learner for 50 bucks
in a used bookstore here in Philadelphia. I have a first edition of
Vineland but paid only 3.98 plus New Jersey tax for it.
Your copy of V would be more valuable if it has it's original dust jacket.
(The Slow Learner had it's dust jacket further encased in a plastic
covering, hence it was in excellent shape.) Also, if it's pages are
unmarked, etc., it would be worth more.
What it's value is? Good question.
Just some pre-caffeinated jabbering,
Cheers,
Randall
