Lot 49: The Band

For any Bay Area Pynchonites looking for more excitement after the
Booksmith's soiree on the 30th, a band called Lot 49 is playing that evening
on a three-band bill at the Bottom of the Hill.  Don't know a damn thing
about them, but I'd be tempted to drop by if I didn't already have plans to
see the new Chris Marker film at the San Francisco International Film
Festival.
