Megalon?

Was Megalon the three-headed dragon who spewed out lightning from its 
mouth(s)?  I know Godzilla need Rodan to get the sucker.  Also the 
monster was brought to life by those thin guys in black and gray with 
really hip thin shades across their eyes? maybe I'm mixing things but 
there is a teary-eyed girl crying come back Godzilla, come back...they 
saving the day, mission complete, back to hibernating over the 
mountain...god what genius
