quote he alludes to ( and I only know it because it's my favorite, not 'cause I'm a

(wording prob'ly a little off)
BTW, serious typo in the Bantam GR (in case you needed another excuse to not like that 
edition), has it as *immortality*  Pretty funny typo, no?
