For what it's worth, February 2 1900 was the date that then State 
President of South Africa F W de Klerk announced the unbanning of the 
African National Congress and other anti-apartheid movements, and the 
imminent release of Nelson Mandela from prison. Of course, Mandela's 
government has proven even more capitalist than the F W de Klerk 
government. Ayn Rand would approve...
