Geli Tripping

Choice between the hard or soft pronunciations of the _g_  would
depend on the uncontracted form of the name.  Currently we can choose
between the ger _Angelika_  and the fr _Angelique_ or it _Angelica_.
On the other hand there's the sp _Angelica_, which would yield
something like Hayley.  Bright mouths all, though hardly seamless.
Had anyone proposed nailing Geli to a tree?
On the gripping hand there's Gelida, a warm heart.  Well, maybe not.
