     Mad dogs and mosquitoes? One typically deals with the first by
     placing a swift bullet betwixt the eyes, and the second by a crushing
     blow. A hidden subtext of grip's message?

Hmmmm. Advice as to how to handle it? I'd say to do what Diane apparently
did. Simply ignore it. I doubt many on the list take Steely's
personal outbursts seriously. I never met the man. Don't know what makes
him tick like a time bomb, or set him off. But in my somewhat limited
experience with pissing contests, it's best to simply not allow oneself
to be drawn in. Particularly, as with the proverbial "mad dog", one must
never show either fear or anger.

So look at Steely's attacks as you would at an annoying mosquito in an
otherwise lovely summer afternoon. Put on some repellant and enjoy your
summers.

Don't try to correct all the errors of the world that you come in contact
to, or even bother to point them all out. If you did, you'd end up in a
rage 100% of the time as our boy amply demonstrates.

BTW, If A has an inverse relationship to B, then, logically, B does have
the same inverse relationship to A. If A = k/B, then it must follow that
B = k/A.

Sage advice from a youthful sage. <grin>
