Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention: Tom Pynchon was there. At a nearby 
table. Sounded like an a**hole to me. Nobody mentioned that we knew he
was there cause we didn't want to scare him away. But it was
interesting to hear him whisper to his attractive companion, at times
about listening to our table. He was drinking Weisbeirs, by the way.
