As a first post, I guess this revokes my lurker status.
Beautiful Losers-Leonard Cohen
CoL49-TRP
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-Hunter S Thompson
The Sea of Fertility-Yukio Mishima
The Uses of Disorder-Richard Sennett
Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame-Charles Bukowski
Thus Spoke Zarathustra-Friedrich Nietzsche
The Little Prince-Antoine de St Exupery
Fleur de Mal-Baudelaire
Collected Works-Rimbaud
Rethinking this list i now realise, in turn each of these books has had to
be replaced at least once, due to their being borrowed by friends and
acquaintances and never being returned.

"The Howells Medal is a great honor, and, being gold, probably a good hedge
against inflation, too. But I don't want it. Please don't impose on me
something I don't want. It makes the Academy look arbitrary and me look
rude. . . . I know I should behave with more class, but there appears to be
only one way to say no, and that's no."
