Sumpin seems funny (Unheimlich) about a bunch a Pee listers
rating the tastefulness of jokes. No one's dragged in the dear
ol boy Freud on this and it might be useful. Actually, Zizek
on jokes and their relationship to the Symbolic might be even
better. In a dialectical and inescapably pynchonesque way,
there is always excess, mindless pleasure (that must of course
be political, must it not?) an object a (yes, Lacan) that
subverts any of Our "good" intentions. Dissertation or dis?
What's the "use"? A sentence that, like the Kenosha Kid, can be
read in all sorts a ways. Is the ISA (ideological state
apparatus), the They, really gonna
tell me how to "take" a joke or make a joke or break..etc.
"Sincerely" in quotes, end quotes. See Wittgenstein.Run.
