I subsequently suggested B as the most appropriate answer, author's
intentions and all that rot. Yes, I still say that B is the "correct"
answer, but I have reconsidered, and as far as author's intentions are
concerned, after further consideration,  I'd like to think that Mr. P
intentionally provoked my more honest answer, C. There it is. Part of
me can't completely lose the cartoons I grew up on in the fifties.
Little bit of racist there in me. I urge the understanding of those of
you who weren't there, or who have otherwise managed to completely
purge or avoid accepting "bad" values. "I'm a good man. Just a very
bad wizard." (HMmmm.... Almost didn't leave that last sentence in
there.)

Oh, well...
