Actually, I'm not going to talk about programs to keep the Genetically
Inferior from breeding.

Rather I'm going to talk about the way people named Eugene talk, hereby
christened "Eugenics." This could be considered an experiment in a kind of
ethnography, though my data set is a set of one. Eugene Kang, to be
precise. I doubt he's reading this, but, if so, hey Euge. He was a guy
who was my friend in high school, and I spent a lot of time listening to
him talk. So I think my evidence is pretty good.

"'Standard' 'English'" Eugenics

Our father Our father
Who art in heaven Who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day Give us this day
Our daily bread Our daily bread
And forgive us And forgive us
Our trespasses Our trespasses
As we forgive those As we forgive those
Who trespass against us Who trespass against us
And lead us not And lead us not
Into temptation Into temptation
But deliver us from evil But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom For thine is the kingdom
And the power And the power
And the glory And the glory
Forever Forever
Amen Amen

Hey, want to get lunch? Hey, want to get lunch?
Pass me a beer. Pass me a beer.

Wow! Aerosmith's "Teen Neat! Danny Elfman's
Hormone Hits" with the movie soundtracks with
Point/Counterpoint on "Huge digitally enhanced
Disgusting Lips: Tyler or cellos!
Jagger!"

I hope this little lesson in Eugenics has been useful to you all.
