OK, but also a more subtle use of film technique, for instance
the long paragraph on page 82-83, the way the visual field mimics
a sweeping Wellsian camera movement to echo and extend TRP's recurring
dramatic rhythm of the dying fall, the elipsis, the contemplative
coda...
A PISCES meeting at the White Visitation. A plot to expose Slothrop
to a projective test. "We want to expose Slothrop to the German rocket..."
Cut to overhead : the ceiling. Desciption of moldings. The visual field
cranes through rooms, glances at portaits, examines the W.C.s, leans
over the balconies, then is pulled down the "metaled road" to see the
sentry and come to rest, with the dogs, in the woods. End of scene.
